First, make sure you heated it for the full 25 seconds as instructed. If it still doesn't feel warm enough, let it rest for 1 minute without heating. Then heat it again for just 10 more seconds. That's 35 seconds in total. Don't heat it continuously for more than 25 seconds at a time. Repeat the heat cycle above for higher temperatures.

Overall a good migraine relief cap. The cold therapy soothes my headaches well and the full coverage blocks light nicely so I can rest. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The only reasons for four stars are that the cooling effect fades a bit faster than I would like, so for a long migraine I need to re-freeze it, and the fit is slightly snug. For the price it does a good job and I would still recommend it for regular headaches.
